Jay Cutler is kicking off his time behind bars.
The former quarterback for the Chicago Bears reported to Williamson County Jail in Franklin, Tennessee, on Sept. 29 to begin his four-day sentence, as seen in online records, after pleading guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI following his October 2024 arrest.
Jay was officially checked into custody, per jail records, at 5:34 p.m. local time after arriving at the jail hours earlier.
In addition to serving time, the 42-year-old—dad to kids Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 9, with ex-wife Kristin Cavallari—will serve one year of supervised probation, in addition to attending a DUI safety class and paying a $350 fine.
Jay was arrested on Oct. 17, 2024, after a minor traffic collision. According to police, upon arriving at the scene officers were told by one of the drivers that the former NFL player rear-ended him before allegedly offering the driver money and attempting to flee the scene.
